i dreamt i was out with J. it was night. probably about 4am real time and 9pm dream time. i don't know. anyway he was waxing lyrical again and a bit high on drink (?) for he suddenly launched into a monologue of poem composition in the middle of the street.
words came out quicker, faster and louder, pouring out like a torrent of unleashed creativity. its structure resembled that of centralized text, lining itself in the air.
the best thing was, you know what?
i knew i was dreaming. and my thought at that moment was, "wow. i need to write that poem from this dream down!" so i took out my trusty handphone and started keying in words. but every keypress, although i could feel the pressure of the buttons beneath my fingerpads, elicited absolutely nothing but a blank screen.
it was then i realised that i was dreaming about recording my dream down. so i tried to memorize the lines of the poem and told myself, 'ok, wake up and write it down - for real this time."
i emerged from slumber, this time for real, i know, for it was dark and i was on my bed, eyes and body heavy as hell. i reached for my handphone but then it dawned upon me.
dreams don't really transfer out of the dreamscape to real life that easily right? as is the case with mp3 sounding like crap when you try to MIDIfy it.
it was a good poem though. but i suppose it was mere gibberish in my head that sounded like lovely poetic rantings. perhaps that's why i can't remember it. but it was lucid dreaming, and i recall a professor telling us of an experiment done that involved this sort of dreaming. it was atrributed to OBE.

sadly after the dream, i was plagued with dreams of me doing the powerpoint presentation that kept me up till 4am that night. and i was in stage 2 of sleep constantly and kept waking up.

but good news is that i had REM during my sleep last night, means that i will be able to recall that day's events with more ease. REM helps with memory work. i hope my presentation goes well. guess i'm lucky i constantly REM. even on the mrt sitting up sleeping (and nodding onto random strangers).

maybe i should take the game more seriously and earn big bucks. hell, it's a fact, i already know some people whom when i speak to them on maple they say they're "working". wtf... and they really earn thousands ok.
these nights 8pm usually got a party hunt... sad, they found a kandine while i was busy with proj last night, but no worries. kandine not say hard to hunt =) made a whole bunch of new friends... friend's friends la, but i don't chat to them... until recently. nice people ^_^ and best of all, they're all around my age and can speak japanese =D was so occupied chatting to cat in japanese last night that i ignored all my msn windows.. haha. which consisted of proj discussion and bruce's msn msg about lv 80 hat. keke. until he had to call me to tell me.

do you guys believe in lucid dreams?
i dreamt i was out with J. it was night. probably about 4am real time and 9pm dream time. i don't know. anyway he was waxing lyrical again and a bit high on drink (?) for he suddenly launched into a monologue of poem composition in the middle of the street.
words came out quicker, faster and louder, pouring out like a torrent of unleashed creativity. its structure resembled that of centralized text, lining itself in the air.
the best thing was, you know what?
i knew i was dreaming. and my thought at that moment was, "wow. i need to write that poem from this dream down!" so i took out my trusty handphone and started keying in words. but every keypress, although i could feel the pressure of the buttons beneath my fingerpads, elicited absolutely nothing but a blank screen.
it was then i realised that i was dreaming about recording my dream down. so i tried to memorize the lines of the poem and told myself, 'ok, wake up and write it down - for real this time."
i emerged from slumber, this time for real, i know, for it was dark and i was on my bed, eyes and body heavy as hell. i reached for my handphone but then it dawned upon me.
dreams don't really transfer out of the dreamscape to real life that easily right? as is the case with mp3 sounding like crap when you try to MIDIfy it.
it was a good poem though. but i suppose it was mere gibberish in my head that sounded like lovely poetic rantings. perhaps that's why i can't remember it. but it was lucid dreaming, and i recall a professor telling us of an experiment done that involved this sort of dreaming. it was atrributed to OBE.

sadly after the dream, i was plagued with dreams of me doing the powerpoint presentation that kept me up till 4am that night. and i was in stage 2 of sleep constantly and kept waking up.

but good news is that i had REM during my sleep last night, means that i will be able to recall that day's events with more ease. REM helps with memory work. i hope my presentation goes well. guess i'm lucky i constantly REM. even on the mrt sitting up sleeping (and nodding onto random strangers).

maybe i should take the game more seriously and earn big bucks. hell, it's a fact, i already know some people whom when i speak to them on maple they say they're "working". wtf... and they really earn thousands ok.
