okok.. i know i haven't been blogging.. so in zesin's words: sue mi. hahas.... haix... busy busy busy whole week. either that or too damn shagged. now also sacrificing schwork time.. so good.. tml half day! yay! cos we did well in the A lvl results. in fact, i think the entire island did well... =)

shit. damn beetle flying it's ass around. cannot conc.... x_X

i guess first thing i should blog about is the trip to tekong. i might do a short summary... too darn tired to do a long detailed one... i apologize for that. =P

wed: tekong~

so good~ wed was short day.. cca day. not only did i get to legally skip my cca (dun get mi wrong, i dun hate my cca.. =P) i got to slack around in some new fun place... =) out of singapore! (erm. technically? but it's still part of it.. just not on the mainland.. )
i had break from 10.45-11.30.. so was slacking around until 11.30+ when i headed to the canteen to grab some munchies to chew on the bus. i got that cake with red bean filling and a pack of milk pocky! =) moo~

we assembled in the foyer... actually i was supposed to be with my class but after alot of wheedling and moving back and forth, i finally settled with jes, karene and frens.. =) hahas... not that i hate sok teng + li teng, but let's just phrase it that i prefer to hang with jes.. =P you guys must recall that i'm not reli close to my class... =P

yep.. we boarded the bus! yeahhhhhh.... lol... (watch movie sia, jes.. =X) heh... i was like stoning beside jes chewing on mi food.. den after i was done with that i took my med... X) hahas... den we talked cok and stoned outta the window... yep.. bus ride was good.. comfy seats... ^^ we went all the way to changi beach that area i think... then alighted at some place where our belongings were checked thru that x-ray thing by computer.. and we had to pass thru a metal detector... heh.. reminded mi of guesswhat? court! XD yepyep.. metal detectors aplenty dere. =P

hmms.. we were amongst the first few jcs to arrive... sat around in the waiting area on those plastic seats akin to those in polyclinics? hahas.... checked out the sajc ppl, oi ppl, yjc, srjc... got shuai ge ar! =D~~~~ finally twas our turn to board the ferry... =) yep~ ferry! i like ferries.. ^^ we had to walk this bridge thing and a jetty i think... to get to the ferry... looked liked some princess liner.. star cruise... XD bobbing up and down.. i gingerly stepped off from stable ground to it.. the seats were those soft furry seats you have on trans island buses... with the exception of a life jacket under every seat... =) we got in, made ourselves comfortable... interesting ferry.. had two storeys.. a double decker.. =)

our tour guide introed himself.. heh.. jz~ not bad hor hor.. managed to charm ur way thru some of my gal fren's hearts.. =P *fakes a swoon* XD anyway, seriously he was a good sorta host and guide.. kudos! =) ex ajcian.. knows all our traits le.. hahahs.. my attention was kinda shifting around but i listened to most of what he said.. =P beside mi sat two teachers.. irritating whores... =X hahas.. ah.. den we watched this OH SO EDUCATIONAL video on the tv... how to secure ur life jacket.. or some shit. i was staring out the window most of the time. watching the churning water swoosh past as the ferry sped towards tekong.. leaving singapore speedily.. ^^

we reached tekong in record time.. so fast. so sad. =/ haix... i like the ferry trip!

after the ferry was secured, we tramped out and stepped out on reclaimed land.. tekong ar~ =) hopped onto the wibbly jetty and then we walked down this path.. "welcome to tekong" or somesort it said.. with music playing on the speakers.. reminded me of pasir ris coasta sands resort.. somehow.. =D it reli looked like a holiday resort.. sun sand sea... buildings were modern and green... ahh.. so unexpected. i expected somewhere ulu with loads of sand around abit like a construction site/desert... =) surprises surprises... =D

i think there was minimal waiting before we were led in the sun to this monument statue thingy... bronzy looking singapore flag on a pedestal, with a man in army uniform on one side and children on the other.. looking very majestic. i din get the chance to see the children, but i saw the side with the army man.. description and background of statue followed and what it symbolised, etc.. fact of the day: it is 1ｰ hotter in tekong than on the mainland.. =) that explains the mass sweltering going on.. XD

after that we headed to an auditorium. first one in. sat on velvety seats in air con with classical music playing softly in the background. wow.. XD after we were all settled and feeling extremely comfy and sleepy, jz spoke more about life in army, himself, etc.. and answered a few questions.. heh.. sun1 zi3 bing1 fa3! =PpPpPp (wonder if he knows mi blog.. lolx) the other jcs filed in and den we watched a movie on the security of singapore and stuff.. i think? can't recall... was feeling so comfortable... mmmm... fell asleep during the speaker's presentation after the video... Zzz.. head lolling around on the chair.. high backrest.. but my annoying ponytail... in the way... so head lolling around... gahs.. =/

head lolled around until the question and answer session (after the speaker's presentation) was over... half stoned, i stumbled outta the audi into bright tekong sunlight. was only a little after noon, i think... XD early early early~ =D

we piled into a bus if i recall properly.. and headed off to BIC (?) battle innoculation centre? can't reli remember all the abbreviations and stuff.. ahahs.. i got bad memory.. =P long drive dere.. and to imagine jes wanted to walk! x_X wahahs... sure cannot reach by sundown... interesting stuff we viewed on the drive dere.. =) yepyep~ you gotta go dere to see for yaself.. =) it's reli interesting... ^^ despite the heat.. the heat is bearable.. XD

first thing we did was listen to some background info and a briefing... james called mi hp about the milieu party.. oh ya.. derek just pmed mi on irc... asking mi to go.. haix... see first la.. x_X dun tempt mi!!!!! den we were going IN... we collected ear mufflers from the army guys before trekking on sandy/pebbly uneven ground uphill.. heard shots ringing out every few seconds or so... it wasn't that loud... so din reli need the mufflers.. i've heard louder... heh... i love guns. i'm weird. i remember when the army ppl came to my sec sch and we tried out the m-16 and a heavy machine gun mounted on something.. that one we had to wear mufflers while trying out.. and a warning was yelled out everytime it was fired.. =))))))))) wonder what the neighbours thot.. XD XD XD

so anyway there was a short briefing on what we would be seeing. an exercise that would be sort of a simulation of war... crawl from the trench and den drop to the ground and crawl around to the end of the field with your gun and back into the trench before jumping out to safety or some sort. din get a good view. =/ there were real shots flying overhead so they just couldn't jump up on their two feet and run... sounds of airplanes dropping bombs in the background.. oh ya.. from the trench you had to throw out a grenade before climbing out and running to safety... hmms... weirdly interesting exercise...? x_X i dun understand it tho.. hahas....

headed back down the path while sweaty army guys looked longingly at the gals.. (i guess? lol... =P i assume. ahahshs!~) i passed my muffler to one of the army ppl handing them out and he passed it to an srjc guy. srjc only sent guys. what's up with them man.. -_-;;;

we settled around on tekong highway (ie: the road) in a circle of some sort.. i couldn't reli hear what jz was talking about.. everyone was drenched in sweat. could see rivulets running down their faces and their shirts were practically plastered to their backs.. had to make way halfway for a truck to pass by.. important looking guy inside.. o.0 oh ya.. we were also told about the importants of headwear.. berets and caps.. etc.. what color for what rank... can't remember offhand now...

shortly after, we piled into the bus again.. eh. time for a short commercial break:

so anyway, we were headed to the quarters of a company. i forgot which. but it was an eyeopener indeed.. =)

ArGh.. so many sms flooding in... HOW TO BLOG.. *cries* so many ppl on irc looking for mi also.... gah. continue later.
...and dith babbled on at the insane hour of 10:16:00 PM
