38 years it has stood alone.

hmm. first off. happy bdae singapore! lol, i know this is abit too late, cos i'm past the 12am mark, but who cares. didn't go for the parade like always.. ahahs.. they should do a cycle sorta thing.. like give tix to diff grps of ppl each yr or something... instead of relying on connections or luck.

went out in the late afternoon / early evening. ended up at sakae. ate until i thot my guts would do the twist. well, no la, i'm exaggerating. just felt relatively sick after. i've felt worse before. this time it's just full. lol.. been sometime since i've been totally full i guess. haha.. stomach shrinks after awhile, yea?

well. i guess i could kinda say i had an encounter of different sorts today. it wasn't bad. no it wasn't. lol.. it was actually quite nice. haha.. i guess it's easier teasing ppl thru the written word than the spoken word? which might also show that i spend TOO MUCH TIME ON IRC. my interpersonal skills might be going down the train. i guess this sucks? lol..

anyway jes and mark so bad!!!!!!! go out watch ndp/set off fireworks also bo jio!!!! ah wells. i prob din miss much anyway. lol.. i guess if i dun think about it i also wouldn't care. i mean, if u start to drift away from something, it won't matter so much to you anymore. like tv. or ppl. or hobbies. or whatnot. haix.... and of course there are ppl/things whom/which one would totally LOVE to be RID off. for LIFE.

i watched Home Run yesterday. planning to catch Children Of Heaven on wednesday. =) i actually have decent comments, maybe even praise for the movie. ^^ it's really a masterpiece. altho i downgrade it a bit because he got the main gist and many scenes off the original Iranian Art Festival award winning masterpiece. ;p

BUT. i have high praise for the setting and the props. yesssssssireeee. i felt like i was in newly-independent singapore. even its opening coincides and complements the nation's birthday. well done. appropriateness. =) nostalgia. i was reminded of primary school days. or my kindergarden days. when everything was so simple and fun and innocent. wonderful stuff. i wish i could go back to that time. mmm. now everything's so..... eyer. =
but. like my gp teacher said. young ppl shouldn't brood over the past and get all sentimental over it. ^^ we should move ahead in life. but technology makes everything so boring after a time. little things that once gave u pleasures now seem to be completed with the flick of a switch. so what's the whole freaking point?

mass production.

quality sappers.

grr.

and yes, even humans will/may be mass produced in the future. this is very very REAL.

facts suck. science sucks. existence is overrated.

but people-people relationships still continue. and for that simple matter, things don't seem so bad after all. i just hope i won't be talking or interacting with a simulated person. that would be sad.
