predestined

fine, so i'm typing this out again. i thought blogger saves your entries for you? tmd. anyway, i said i was supposedly gonna blog yesterday night, but was too tired and stuff, and chatting on irc and had to off the comp. so i'm making up for loss time by blogging now. yea. anyhoo, had chem practical yesterday. 2nd shift aint that bad, yea? at least we only get quarantined for an hour and get to go home straight after the paper. but i didn't go home, went out with my classmates to watch movie. ahahs...

anyways chem prac involved 4 sections. Redox titration.. Fe(II).. a double titration to find the number of moles that reacted and which one is the oxidising agent. involved KMnO4 (ya LA, someone CLEVER LA, PREDICT SO ZUN. good for you loh. but. YOU DON'T TAKE CHEM! -_____- *stabs you* haha, you know who u are. i see you lying dead on monday k. ;p) waccow purple solution, so intensely purple somemore. meniscus cannot see. somemore my burrette so misleading, put a large number 50 on the top. hai wo titrate wrongly at first. -_-; kept sloshing permanganate all over my hand in the sink... got mighty pissed with it. luckily my titration quite accurate. first one so zhun ok. 25.25cm^3 for both! heh.. second one not so heng, 15.6 and 15.7.. haha... but nvm. plus minus 0.1 ma. yeah... that done, i moved on to QA. blardee hell. luckily the tests not v difficult. only test for CO2, and relatively a lot of gas was produced, so in no time at all the Ca(OH)2 formed white ppt. yeppers. aahahs.. lol, i cheated too. i shook it around so the reaction would be more vigorous.. TIME IS PRECIOUS, FOLKS! :X ahahas.. anyway at first i used a testtube. kao eh, the tube with the cork to bubble the gas was for the bigger test tube. -_-; (haha.. forgot what it's called. entry tube? blur...) at first tried squashing it on the mouth of the smaller test tube. kns. fine, so i switched to the bigger test tube. ahahs.. effervescence! yeps. good good. but then they asked us to add NaOH and filter. then add HCl to the filtrate. wahha i dunno white ppt means Pa or Ba ar? forgot the solubility. hai. then they asked us to add aq NH3 to FA7.. white filtrate this time.. not brown... still either Pa or Ba. hrm. anyway this time added HCl to filtrate, nothing formed. eH, i dunno lehs. anyway i think the brownish cream ppt was Mn2+? lol, no idea lehs. and i dunno if Br- or I- was formed... die die. ahahas.. or both? ^^; ok, i thot i was all done. so began to relax. planned the experiment for the QA. five solutions, unknown identities cos all mixed up, but they tell you what the 5 are, just not which FA they are. lol. yep. bright yellow ppt, yellow ppt, yellow turn orange, and no visible reaction if i used the yellow solution found to be K2CrO4. haha... anyway FA12 was that. the other had only one positive reaction. and that was yellow ppt with Pb2+ ions. Cl- + Pb2+ ---> yellow ppt. yeppers. CrO42- + H+ -----> yellow turn orange. i think? lol can't recall. don't bother liaos. hahas....anyway FA8 was found to be the one containing lead, FA9 contained Fe, can't recall liao. hahas... was happy i could do that. yeah~ then flipped to the OTHER design one, eyer. they ask you to plot a graph with given readings. for temp rise vs conc of HCl. ahhaas... then flip behind. WAH STUN TIO. it's the bloody design expt. kao eh. i was like.. WTF? blur diao liaos. hehe.. they say FA5 and FA6, FA5 is 0.8M of H2SO4 initial, but accidentally spilt some Na2CO3 inside. and FA6 is 1M of NaOH i think. lol.. so using the graph, devise an experiment and CARRY IT OUT. wtf.... i had only 20mins left. -_-; EYER. PANIC. lol.. so faster faster.. die die must do. haven't even done my calculations for titration or deduction for prac. EEK. after staring at it for what seemed like an eternity, anyhow devise an experiment. i calculated the volume of NaOH needed for 30cubic centimetres of FA5, then divided by 2 since not enough. i deduced the temperature needed would be less than what was supposed to be because the acid reacted with the carbonate ma. haha... den i deduced what the conc of H+ ions was from the graph.. minus away from original conc.. 2x0.8M because 2M of H+ from H2SO4. ya.. den calculated 0.341g of Na2CO3 accidentally spilt. lol, i dunno. anyhow do. hai. i forgot to measure the initial temp. -_-; so had to agar agar. KAO eh. hai. somemore raining. weather cold. temp kept deviating back and both. sian ji bua. i was sitting on the lone bench at the back of the classroom near the window somemore. knn. hahas.... heng no rain came in, heng no loudloud thunder like we had on wed. heng... kao eh, after that i hurriedly did my calculations for VA, and was nearly finishing my deduction for QA when time was up. heng, at least i nearly finished. =) heh. the teacher collected our paper, we washed up and cleaned the apparatus. kao i was the slowest to wash everything. hai. friends all had to help me.. THANKSTHANKS! i'm sorry if i splashed water on you guys in my haste. =\ haha.......

after that they went toilet, i went bookshop, said i would meet them in foyer cos had to collect the stuff yanhao sent to the bookshop to get printed for my phy tuition. $4.20. haha... quite okaes. i expected like nearly $10 or something liddat. yeah. went to lockers to put it in yanhao's locker. lol, sokteng or dunno who commented he also use facial foam. ahahs.. lol i dunno. took my portion and put his portion inside, then we went to sun plaza, sembawang.. movie at 3pm! (Turn Left Turn Right) ahhhh. already 2.15+ when we left sch! ahaHAHs. reached there with around 15 minutes to spare. bought tickets first thing. and then chionged down to buy food. ahAHahs.. lunchhhh. everyone was so darned hungry after the prac. all in all there were 8 gals. ahahs.. all gals, cos the boys all 3rd shift. HENG AR I! i was the VERY LAST ONE of 2nd shift. ^^; scary. anyway we bought macs/kfc/hotdogs/old chang kee. lol. i had old chang kee. ahahs...smuggled food into theatre and movie just about started. lol. made TONS of noise in the cinema amid rustling plastic bags, chomping noises, giggles and conversation exchanges. not to mention the SMELL of foood. ze AROMA. haahs.. one of the employers came with a torchlight. uhoh. pretended as if we weren't eating. but i think she close one eye also. ahahas.. Sun Plaza the business not say v good loh. so empty the cinema. only got around 20 ppl. hahah...one noisy eating row of giggling gals. ahahahs.. like the whole place was ours liddat. :X think there were hell lot of irritated ppl behind us, inclusive of an aj couple. :X hahaha.... perhaps we interrupted their makeout session continually? :X aHAahhass....

movie over, we departed for home. ahahs.. ya, i'm guai loh, i went straight home. :D later found out manyi went to greatworld city cos she called me at night asking for directions.. ahahas... :X then i came home, stoned... slackslack whole day. james called me at night. kao eh that guy. first thing he says is not hello but Hey PIG. -___-; slap him sia. bleargh. anyway he informed me of a party that he, michelle and kimmy will be opening in dec/nov at milieu. hahas.. for about $15. kewl shits. i'm SO going. hahas.. but only 2 free drinks so far la. bleargh. and aaron tells me he's organising a party at centro on 27th this month for $14 bucks, top 40s first, then the usual centro music (which, imo, sux) and 1 free drink i think. ewwies. lol. he wasted half an hour of my life. heng he wanted to play Gunbound.. i got off the hook. :D stoned awhile reading First Magazine and LIME.. lol. bought them on the way home yesterday. yeppers. had to stop by two vendors. hahas...

as for today... lol. slack lohs. but i had phy tuition. ya. and i learnt some stuff. :D heheh.. was early for once! lol, theng yiu was late :X i'm happy i'm early! yay! saw two aj gals at ze bus stop. hrm. they also took 74. dunno go where, but they were wearing uniform so maybe they had exam? lol no idea. ;p perhaps bio prac. lol.... 06/02 take bio right? ?_? (i think they from 06. if not 04.. ?_?) met yanhao halfway.. lol. mrs yip v cute. she playfully chided us for being late. XD hahas... her husband and kids also not at home. lol. i forgot it's friday today. mr yip has lessons. and the kids have sch, i think? lolol. i also blur. haha... but i thot pri sch finish quite early? ?_? blur....

we did SAJC prelim paper physics.. paper1 mcq. hahas.. a lot of ambiguous qns there. gotta ask wilson or whoever for help. lol. they finish exam liao! damn them. x( hai. left around 2.30 after paying. this time took 88 home. lol. eek i saw this man on the bus talking to himself. ediotic theng yiu keep saying maybe he's talking to a ghost and the ghost beside me. -_-; heng the man got off before theng yiu did. >_<~ hai. but i was so freaked when his hand grasped the chair in front of me. >_<~ grr.... bleh. ask him go study he dowan. he wanna go home sleep. hai. no study partner = slack at home lohs. hai. i have yet to find my maths normal distribution notes. >_<~ hai... took 88 all the way to tpy. supposed to stop at interchange, but i found out it stops relatively near my house. so i got off and walked home thru blk 66 there. yah.... auyong, owl and mu not free.... den mark also not free.. jes nv pick up my call... sian. fine loh. lol, came home, mom bought unagi for me~ $6.50 only. and so damn filling and the unagi so damn big! ahahs.... not bad not bad. yUm. and i'm sipping pokka japanese green tea and finishing off my blog now. gotta pia physics today i guess. after holland V.. haha..........
