it rained again.

so.
here i am.
two in the morning.
a monday morning.
my feet ache
just the dullest ache.
i've been walking a lot.
which is good.

feeling disorientated.
i seem to drift.
after the SATs,
there doesn't seem to be anything to work towards
that's a good yet scary thought.
i have freedom.
but what do i do with it?
why do i feel suddenly lost?

the exact same feeling i had when i just finished my A levels
and was into the first leg of the holidays.
ah yes.
everyone seems to be working.
working and earning money
and me?
useless bum.
*sigh*

hrm.
today's bummer's day was fun though
it didn't rain
only slight drizzle
which is good.
unfortunately i woke up at noon
which is just gross.
it was so cold too.
ew.

by the time i headed out it was nearly four in the afternoon.
but anyway
marina park is nice.
nice quiet place albeit kinda scary because of all the stories i heard
from a single (but reliability unknown) source, nonetheless.
nice wind was blowing
neither humid nor too dry and biting

was bright enough so i didn't feel freaked.
but unpopulated enough so i didn't feel restrained.
(yes, crowds make me feel lost and restrained.)
(no, i'm not claustrophobic)
(i think.)

i stared at the murky river/stream/body of water that rippled and flowed past
i like the feeling of travelling away when i'm actually standing still
it's very soothing and comforting.
it's a nice place
but ulu
and somewhat scary
(i have an overactive imagination)

i caught sight of river hong bao
they were having some celebration there i think
(as usual)
if i had been wearing boots
i would have trekked and splished and splashed my way across the big field, no doubt.
i need yellow wellies!

ahem.

headed to the arcade.
ah yes
steamboat place.
i played time crisis 3
(again!)
wasted four bucks.
was only at stage 2 area 2 i think.
blehhhhh.
can't blame me.
only the second time i've played that game.

watched tsurugi being played
(and haolianed at. bAH)
went back to the park.

played on the swings for a bit after that.
then had a stupid pod fight with stick-pods from the trees
podding instead of fencing.
my stick broke twice
=/

blehhh.

reached the mrt three hours after we had left it
a walk in the park indeed.
took us three hours

by then it was already getting dark
looked like spooky mist/haze/fog
the kind in Hound of the Baskervilles or Sleepy Hollow.
either or.
whichever works.

"oh you terrible apparition! i did not mean to mock you!"

lol, too many Hallmark trailers.

headed to cityhall.
aye.
got slightly lost in marina square
then headed to millenia walk for dindin.
ahh, food junction.

i had the wok thingy.
venison.
*makes deer noises*
*butts around with antlers*

i like venison.
=D

lol, they were having some chinese percussion thingy over at the durian.
noisy but sounded interesting.
still drizzling.

sat on the path over the water/pond thingy
watched as the raindrops pitter pattered on the quiet surface of the water
helped to take down a poem in my phone.
(should i post it up?)

and now it's raining.
ah yes.
it has commenced.

i'm sleepy.
gah.
shall head to bed and see what dreams sleep will bring tonight.
