wow.. today.
mom and sis went NUH for sis' physio, me n dad went acer service center, ntu, den back there, den i went chinatown meet mom and sis den finally go home.
hecticccc.

actually this morning i planned to leave the house by 830 so i can reach the center by 9 when it opens to avoid the crowd. but the weather decided to be rainy. the sort that makes you wanna snuggle even deeper under your bedclothes and have warm and toasty dreams while it rains. grargh. whole family also had the same idea. wahahha.

so dad sent mom and sis to nuh, then we went to acer center. reached at 11+am. hai. should have gone straight to school la, but never mind. by 1126 it wasn't even close to our turn, the queue number had only moved by 2 places. and i really cannot tahan anymore. my sub reg was at noon on the dot.
felt kinda bad cos dad parked then must go drive me to school again. bad planning. nvm. the car park is those must go pay before exiting. wa tmd mafan. $1 and didn't accept plastic notes. surprisingly i reached LWN lib at 1154am. 5 and a half minutes to spare. phew phew phew caught my breath.
fingers trembling from excitement and anticipation yet fear. wahahha. yes, the system is fearful. you keep praying months before this date that you will get the subjects you want in the time slots you want. pray pray pray.
shit la. next time i do at home. =X school also lag when everyone press. cos i bet everyone is refreshing the page over and over. clicking nonstop. nTU server like kena DOS attack. hahaha.
anyway i got 5/6 of what i wanted. why 5/6 when i had only 3 subs to add?
because i got all the subjs i wanted, but 2 out of 3 of the time slots were the ones i wanted. never mind. 4 day week still not so bad. =)
am still puzzling over edwin from CS. i don't recall an edwin. maybe i've seen him but i dunno who. and i should know because there are so few guys in cs. or was it irwin? eh. i really dunno cos i was at a bus stop and it was noisy. and i'm sorry i can't sacrifice my 4 day week to swap tutorials with you. selfish me. but hey, i also fought for my vid1 slot. so. yeah. hope you find a person willing to exchange with you.
anyway later dad was eating in canA while i was frantically clicking on the PC in the lib. later i went canteen n drank a biggggg cup of tea to calm my nerves. blah. den he dropped me off at acer center after much protesting from me. cos he wanted to wait with me but i wanted him to go work. anyway i won!
but i was fortunate in a way too.
the acer guy who served me didn't charge me a single cent although he helped me check my lappie and even changed the fan for me! eh omg la i felt so paiseh about it. cos my warranty over liao. supposed to pay about a hundred bux. but yeah nice man! so everyone please go buy acer products and i hope mr goh WL gets promoted asap! =D
anyway my lappie's new fan (mom termed it, 'lappie has a new body part' =_=) is working fine and dandy! *_* ok lappie i shall give u more TLC!!!! lappie: NNOOO!!!
kewl. i also got to see the inside of the lappie. now i know the parts inside the lappie but i still don't dare take out the parts myself. cannot anyhow smash and hack like pc cpu.
later i walked to the bus stop to look for 143. i missed the first one, missed the second one cos i couldn't see the number before it passed me by, and nearly missed the 3rd one if the bus driver wasn't so kind as to stop for me, albeit quite far from the bus stop. oops. i flagged too late cos i cannot see laH! haiz.
reached chinatown and found the right bus stop. met mom and sis at OG. eh. sis bought 3 pants and 1 top. (OMG LAH! she pants/shorts mad) and i bought one skirt and one pants. ho hum. heng got 20% disc.
very heavy my laptop.. shoulder nearly died. went hawker centre makan. ate mee hoon kway. something nice and warm and cheap. didn't eat the whole day. wahahah.
then took 143 home.
nuaing at home when dad came home with the mail. i got a card! from gracEee! all the way from china! ahhaa. love the card! *muah*! it rocks! wrapped up my day nicely! ^_^
ok now what's left is my GE. 22nd... ahhhhh. but that's not the last. gotta wait till first week of school to know whether i got them or not. then i will change tut grp for 301 accordingly. hohum.
tomorrow another kanchiong day. bleah.
nvm, it makes things all the more fun.
